Nice work as always, wish I had half your welding skills . I got another T I G and still having problems getting the settings right.
Just can't seem to master it.

Not me frank I'm prob an average welder the dual pulse mig machine i purchased when i built pop can make anyone look good

My prob these days is the eyes aren't as sharp as they wunce were & hands not as steady either when i'm tiging

What i haven't lost is ability to think sheet metal developement i see the job finished b4 i start

Biggest prob peep have when using tig on alloy is position of tungston
Unlike when welding s/s & tunston pretrudes out past shrout with alloy have it just inside
You dont want tungston ever touching metal rely on the HF

Sort of got back into it today with no Spud Muffin dropping land mines on my lawn i got a wee bit done
I truly still dont believe the smamosal whoever put this goat together created.
Very time consuming tracing all the plumbing i ended up welding it all shut & doing my own new system
Original plumbing was pathetic & quite easily the cause as to why goat went down.
Went shopping yesterday got all the electronics & a auto pilot kit

What a waste of a week bloody lawyers they should be zot

ps] I did a bulk buy when BIAS went into liquidation have stuff like switch panels, trailer leaf springs, hatches, compartment lockers just to name a few .

Managed to get a wee bit done 2day the day after yesterday
Console finally finished doors etc all fitted & removed
It's ready to get prep'd for paint

Nearly there everything is built & fitted up tis easy doing all the electricals with consol out of the goat

Was not happy with hight boat sat on trailer it would've meant i'd have to have ute in water to launch/retrieve got arsed about by idiot @ tire place when i ordered new rims/tires in the end told him to stick them up his arse i gained SFA not how he explained to me prior to ordering.

Longer draw arm was anutta option but i ended up sliding goat further back on trailer got thicker skids to compensate clearance prob have to sneak out this morn get alloy to remodify winch post etc

What size alloy do you need, ? chances are there may be some here you could have.

Went out & got them this morn frank
Went with 9 inch they lowered the rig 80 mm

With the boat sitting that far back on the trailer all the weight of the boat is going to be riding on the two rear tyres and
the trailer will pitch and sway even at low speeds.
Why not do away with the springs and get a couple of rubber inserted axles to lower the boat ?.
OH and your trailer lights will be too far forward from back of engine to lights

way to far over the back of the trailer! you need to keep the correct towball weight and that would put it way out, im sure you are pulling our legs!

Took goat out for a run yesterday threw a few egi's in & ended up braining the squids
Goat screams only rev'd her out to 4000rpm & was pulling 24 knots was weird driving this thing not used to steering from so far aft & when looking 4ward it seemed like you were driving a 25 footer
Only hiccup was water did get into the hull, i'll have a look @ where wunce this rain stops

Ducked into motor boat club udder day pulled up up along side a mates goat hu was doing sum reno's took a pic whilst i was up on the bridge

Front deck looks like it is decked with cork.

It's actually 4 mm rubber whole goat was done in it ner use carpet again so easy to keep goats clean with this stuff

Not often i get to see my goats on the water Patata was up annoying me again put a few pics he'd taken on my computer
