Came across this site, free postage to Australia too !

Placed an order in for about 10 bucks worth of lures, i'll be testing them out to see how they go..

The poppers look unreal for whiting ! just need hooks

And you can ever paint them yourself, i personally might paint a few but i have heard the clear poppers are gun for whiting, so we'll see !

awesome find dan, especially when spinner baits and lures used in the rivers out here are often lost, very keen to give em a g so just ordered a few myself.

I'm actually interesting in using them unpainted ! if they have a good action, i'm going to place a bigger order in. I didn't see the spinnerbaits until just now. I'll order some of them too if they are good, i can't see why not. They look exactly the same

Jumpy, no fries and shake, wouldn't mind that though been craving maccas all day laugh.gif

Cheap lures tongue.gif
Haven't spent under $15 on a lure in ages, the cheap ones are rarely as good, have inferior action, often leak and rarely have quality components or line/split ring attachment points.......If you want quality on a budget look @ the berkley range, strike pro and theres a few others that are around or just over the $10 mark that will catch fish-see through pink or clear is good for whiting-depends on cloud cover.

Expensive Lures catch fisherman, not fish.....

Cant afford to lose $100 an hour of jackalls fishing the lachlan... Especially when the cheapies work when put in the right place..

I always find this comment funny!

Some lures have NO action, and you put it into them by how you work the rod?

Same goes with squid jigs, you need a certain type and they cost $30 or ya wont catch squid.. ill bet more squid have been caught on $2 pick squid jigs than any other..

I've had some good luck on cheap lures, not alot of the time and i have had lures that won't dive BUT it's only 10 bucks anyway so if they are no good i'll chuck them

Gotta admit i love plastics more then anything, $1 jighead, $1 plastic, if i lose it, who cares ! and it's easy to change lures etc

Why dont you just run out into a paddock & burrow a Jackass tis only a 2 hr donkey ride to get them

I'm currently using 2lb fluro and 4lb braid on my 1-3kg combo, 4lb fluro/4lb mono and 6lb braid on my 2-4kg combo, 8-12lb fluro/8-10lb mono and 12lb braid on my 3-5kg combo ....I get snagged often wether it be in trees, sunken timber or heavy weed and find driving back over the snag and giving a bit of a whip often releases the lure if not those wonderful lure retrievers are worth their weight in gold, I lose more when fishing land based compared to from the canoe....

My favourite lures are aussie made and cost under $15....the berkley 3b range has been more successful for me lately than the jackalls, megabass and others costing $20+......no problem with cheaper lures but some really are crap and yeah on the really good daY so long as you put them in front of the fishes nose you may intice a strike.
I will happily sit side by side with someone and compare my siglett with their river to sea competitor-I guarantee there will be more interest in the siglett-yes a $25 price difference is a lot but the siglett will catch you fish. biggrin.gif

I'm not much of a one for buying magazines but modern fishing have been giving away free lures (YOSHIKAWA to be exact) this month its a rattling minnow of about 7 cms (3 inches for all the old farts on site) in length
I have used them before and they do work plus you get to have some thing to read in the dunny.

P.S. crook photos to lazy to set it up with the good camera.

Screw in attachment points-not good, put a touch of super glue on em-a weak point and often where water will get in.
