while we're on the subject of squid.
A made gave me some thin pieces of shaped plastic and tells me they will make cleaning and preparing squid much easier than simply by hand.
spose all I gotta do now is go and catch a load of the tasty critters and give it a go.

Only fished just over an hour
Freaked charlie out he'd tried many a time but had never caught squids he got 5 yesterday rest of the time he was netting mine laugh.gif laugh.gif
They were stompers

professors everywhere laugh.gif
only way to clean squids is to put them in the freezer for an hour prior to cleaning after which you end up with no mess & no sticky membrane to deal with
takes me 30 seconds to clean squids
