I'm left handed, but wind right, shoot right, golf right, pistol shoot left. The guys up north, I spent time with, are also left handed and wind left handed. Very awkward. They cast left handed, then switch the rod to the right so that they can wind. I cast right handed and switch the rod to the left. What gives???? I am going to try and learn to cast left handed and cut out a step in the process

I am Ambidextrous but like KKW I cast right handed and retrieve with my rod in the left hand.

I cast with the right and wind with the left when rock of beach fishing. From the boat again more to the same style, and then again I might just drop the line using the left hand. I have also cast with the left hand but not as accurate.
