I'm going prawning tonight down at Wollumboola lake just north of Jervis bay leaving around 8pm to get there around 11pm run out tide starts around
12 midnight will prawn till around 2.30 -3 am and hope we have a bucket full by then. Should have gone Mon or Tues night but couldn't arrange it.
Here's hoping we have some success.

OK morning and back home from a nights prawning, was bloody hard work as my light went bung after I got 5 prawns so had to use a torch for the rest of the night,
then stuart's net somehow developed a hole in it so him having the better light I gave him my net and he caught the most prawns, ended up with about 3 kilo, here's my share.

We didn't leave there till 4.30 am, last to leave as we don't get to do it often enough and wanted to make the best of a bad situation.
The tide just wasn't flowing ( maybe blocked entrance ) so made it tough going.
I will try and do it again next new moon and might have better results.
