Just thought I would throw in a personal best picture of a callop caught not long ago on a codseeker lure 80mm..Around Mannum area south oz

Excuse my ignorance I'm not a real big fan of freshwater fishing

I find there's not enough Salt in freshwater laugh.gif laugh.gif

But what the hell is a callop ??? is that a local name for a common fish ??

thought it looked familiar & have actually caught one of those yellow belly thingy's

It was prob over 25 years back up on the Darling River

picked up the mully name but had never heard of callop b4

Nice Yella's, Our mate sumo gets a few of them up his way, and theres a few around my way in the bidgee and the lachlan. Like jumpy though, I havent really figured out the fresh water thing, but being stuck out here with work id say ill be doing alot more of it in time to come!
