You're a good man Jumpy thanks.

Is the mutt different I seem to remember he had some white around one eye?

Have you sourced the fuel line yet, remember you had trouble getting it before?

NB: Don't forget the new & improved breather cover. ;)

QUOTE
When you get there how about some close up shots of how the keel area fits together mate?

How will you fit the tranny through that little hole?

I noticed in the big boat build you used 8 blocks on the inside of the transom to stop the skin pulling in, a question, why did you need the lower blocks as the bottom holes were well below the raised up section?
Did you have additional bracing inside the transom, I noticed there were some vertical grind marks on the outer skin at one point and thought they might have been a touch up from internal welding.
I wish you were building at home I'd come & visit, how about trying to arrange an open day at your mates workshop for an hour so that anyone who is interested can come & look.
A bit hard I know, the last thing your mate needs is strangers disrupting his work.

You're probably faster on your own anyway and I'm betting you would fire the 'help' before they got settled in to doing it your way.
Jumpy's way or the highway!

Looking good Jumpy.

OK be a wanker, I thought you would use a wetbox for the tranny, I'm surprised it shoots through both the SIKAFLEX and the BIRDSHIT without losing too much power.

You must not be seeing things I was talking about the big boat build, I thought I said that.
Oh yes, I did.

If you're using a proprietary sprinkler system be aware they clog up pretty easily & sometimes blow the fittings off.

I think I prefer the angular look for the raised foredeck like the big boat (did you see that) to the curved raised section you trimmed out for this one.
Knowing you it will look great though, I have no eye for that stuff anyway.

Carry on.......

It is looking very impresive
you seem to have it going pretty smoothly
Just wondering no door in transom?
The welds are not as rough
so it will be a very good looking boat when finished

Looks like a lot of boat overhanging at the back mate, perhaps it's just the picture?

I feel like we've been spoiled watching the other builds, get your finger out and work faster.

Hi Jumpy

This new trailer system you are using might look convenient but I'd stick with the trailer system you used for your "old" boat.
It really slows you down, welding the trailer to the bottom of the boat.

take the slr next time you are out there.

Jack

The new boat is looking very sexy Jumpy.
I hope there is a invite for me on its maiden voyage.
