its been a while since i changed some of my line on my reels ,so i was just wondering how often you guys change your line on your reels ,,,jas

Depends

Dont really bother changing it on the bait rods unless the spools are down [remember I also fush alot]

There's no real need to change frequently unless line has been chaffed

Used to repool every sean on the game gear dont bother doing that either

But the YFT outfits get frequent respools only cause of alot of noobs I take out & they tend to lose a bit of line I dont like knots in mainline so I respool

When I was fishing off the rocks very regular I could get a year out of the line. I have not been going as much and so the line has not been changed on one reel for about 3 years.
