ok guys which reels do yas prefer baitcasters or threadlines {eggbeaters }and why ,now this is not too turn into an arguement or im gonna take me bat and ball and go home ,,,,,,,,haahhha tell me what you guys think ,,,,,,,,,

im sticking to threadlines jas, just for simplicity..

I do have a baitcatsers (ABU5600c4) though im not sure what to do with it now...
its currently on te 5'6 uglystik with 6kg line, might just use it for bottom bashing and trolling.. maybe floaters also?

Yep Yep it dose depend on what you're targeting.

I much prefer threadlines in salt water but much prefer a good baitcaster if & when I'm fishing fresh think you have more control where your lure ends up with a baitcaser

I do not have a baitcaster and the only time that I have used one I made a birds nest. Gave it back to the person that I borrowed the baitcaster from. biggrin.gif

I fish with a threadline when fishing on a boat.

overheads- off shore/heavy inshore
threadlines- lure work and when using bait
baitcasters/small overheads- everything///
