With all the "spam-type" emails and messages that have been going around the 'fishing sites'


those at FISHRAIDER have lost the plot completely

... if you are not a member then you can access only their info pages on the site ...

CAN'T EVEN GET TO SECTION TO REGISTER

I suppose that is one way to stop anyone becoming a new member!

well my rule about bagging other sites... screw it,

i got banned cause i challenged the owners on the fone for an hour. a friend of mine was also a member and they put up a question asking if it was possible to copy map chips, and they banned them for that, so i questioned the owners at the time of the site and told them they where a bunch of well some pretty colourfull stuff

Oh well, I am in bad company then. I was banned for life, because I told the site owner that he had made a spelling mistake. His wife sent me a PM which stated how telling Stewie that he had misspelt something, was the height of ignorance and how dare I do that.
Kamil also assured me that both the owner and his wife read ALL pm's. They have the software to do that. You cannot mention any manufactuer or business which does not sponsor the site, cannot post any pictures which can be misconstrued, etc etc etc.

JG, you would last a nano second.

Never been there myself... Only really look at this and sometimes fishnet to put shit on people in the offroad section, and also hang about on a hunting site or two..

This site is good, although small, its got a good active community and most of us know each other through the site and meetings..

And we can put shit on each other and not take it to heart!!

You'd block that persons IP adress but a simple proxy can get ewe in anywhere

Well I have 4 oppostion and jumpy has 2.
1)email ban
2)ip ban
both in the admin panel
thats Jumpy for me
add the above plus
3)provider ban via server
4)full Ip ban from server
only on the server can this be done so they cannot even see the site.

Dont think we'll ever get to that, main reason beingwe dont have moderators, really think that's the prob with to many sites

Mods take it upon themselves to be gods [ I do it here but only as a shit stiring exercise ]

Good case of that was on Sportsfish, that Dingo wally tried for aged to get me baned but Admin wouldn't allow it he even got all the other mods to agree with him in baning me on that site 4 mods were needed to ban a member he got the no's but Admin still would not let him ban me.

That got up dingo's nose & when he'd pm me to let me know I'd just laugh & make fun of him which must've really got up his nose

Wot they did on that site was totally wrong in my books, only reason I got banned from there was cause they were reading my personal messages & again I did nothing wrong twas when oz started this site & Admin there knew I'd take alot of members away from sportfish, like I've said B4 whether ewe luv me, hate me etc it's all irrellevant cause I generate conversation on forums & peeps are allways curious as tu wot I was going to say next.

I'd prob still be there if Admin had put a choker chain around Dingo's neck & muzzled him up the guy was a pain in the arse followed me around where ever I posted & would either delete or edit my posts then he started doing same thing to anywun who was backing me up.

At that stage I refused to post anywhere other than the Muck around forum even then they'd move my threads out into the other forums by this stage I'd gotten the shits & spoke to oz man about stating up a fishing forum & that's how fishingozstyle came about.

I dont consider myself a hypercrit nor do I want to be wun, that's why we're so relaxed here about wot members post, if ewe dont like wot sum wun has posted then just ignore it.

There's many a times on this site when I've kept quiet just biting my tongue resisting the temptation to explode most of the time I turn that anger into comedy & just take the piss out of peeps.

Tis a hard Q to answer though cause I really dont think this site will get to the stage where I have to ban anywun
