I was actually quite amazed @ how many people didn't know what a trammel is.

Went to about 6 tool/engineering shops to buy a set of trammel heads & all the sales people looked @ me funny pretty poor sales people I must say. Trammels work like a big pair of dividers -------------------- ![]() Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

Only Tramal I have come in contact with, is the 200mg tablet. Stopped my pain, but gave me halucinations and anxiety when I went off them cold turkey. Bad news. Never again.

I could work with your Tramel though, JG. |

Trammel points are a device that is commonly used to scribe a circle. Their relatively small size makes them easy to store or transport. Another advantage is that they are simple to use. They consist of two separate metal pieces (approx. 2.5" X 5" X 1/2") that are usually connected by a piece of wood. There is also a trammel not to be confused with trammel points. There are several different types of Trammel points but they all work on a similar principle. This process is also referred to as Beam-compass.

They are availbale at Hare & Forbes or any good engineering supply company. -------------------- ![]() |

or is he meaning a Trammel

A trammel is a fishing net set vertically in the water with three layers. The inner layer is of a finer mesh than the outer layers. -------------------- ![]() |
