IOf it's any help to you guys I've been up @ Chipping Norton most days if that makes it any easier to pick up the shirts.

Thought the place was driving me loopy the other night I kid you's not heading east on Newbridge road just b4 the bridge on the l/h side I saw a Moose laugh.gif laugh.gif

Well not quite a moose but there was this stag grazing on a patch of grass wmpty bit of land.

I called out hey Bullwinkle it that you ??

But it ignored me laugh.gif

Tried on my XL shirt today. Those of you who have met me, know of my 6ft, portly build. The XL fits perfectly. Glad I didn't choose the L. Great shirt and the logo looks good. Well done.

Oz, just wear a singlet underneath and leave it open. That'll work.. and you still have your site out there.

The only drama is that my Shimano on is my lucky shirt. Went for a fish on sunday with the brand spanking new Fishin-oz-style shirt... We came back with nothing laugh.gif laugh.gif oops.gif

Sorry, i forgot we bagged out on slimies hysterical.gif

As Jason said we collected the shirts and stuff yesterday. Thanks Jason for taking me.

Geeze I am thick, and jumpy,s not much better, I forgot all about ordering the extra shirt, and maybe that means another trip back to the tackle barn.
Had a really good and interesting few ( quiet a few ) hours talking, but mainly listening to Jumpy about the past and the future of fishing.
While there Jumpy presented me with a you beaut looking 15kg game rod, to see what I thought of it.
Beautiful looking rod with all the right stuff in the right places. I felt the weight looked through the eyes etc etc etc as you do when corressing a beautiful piece of work, then came the crunch time, BEND the rod to test the action and strength, bent it over till I had about 3-4 kilo of pressure ( bugger all ) and

S N A P

The top 8 inches in right hand and the rest of the rod in the left hand.

Only the 2nd rod I have snapped in my lifetime of fishing and playing with gear.
I really did and do feel sorry that I broke such a nice LOOKING rod, but as Jumpy said, better for it to happen in the lounge room rather then when a prize fish is on the end of it.
Really sorry Jumpy, but the blank must have had a floor in it.

Frank

Salty it was all Franks fault I told him to Bend it like Beckon does but he wouldn't listen to me laugh.gif laugh.gif

Fishing Rods Christos laugh.gif laugh.gif

Oh well SHIT Happens ! tongue.gif

I've snaped a few graphites myself but never under load allways doing what Frank did, even snaped a brand newy out of the box showing the boys how to find the rods backbone no load on the rod whatsoever, so here's a few tips for those who own graphite rods.

* It's OK to load them right up they'll handle the load
* Never grab the blank 1/2 way up & try loading up the tip they dont like that, you can get away with it on glass rods but not graphites.
* Use the whole length of the blank to load it up that way you're spreading the load & not just loading up a certain section of the blank.

Nope the rod wasn't one of my custom sticks it was one of the donated rods

The Rumpus came up today and picked up his shirts (and rifle). 9 hour drive up and 9 hour drive back. Hmmmm, expensive shirts laugh.gif
Ruby was happy to see me, and was begging me to save her from country life. Don't let her off the leash, rumpus or she will find her way back here, and I will have to keep her.
