Jumpy never rates fush by their shear size

He rates them based on the ability of the angler to land the fush on as light tackle as possible

Any fool can go out & catch big fush on rope then brag about it but I ask

Where's the SPORT in that ??????????????????????????

My biggest fish has not have a pic to show you but it sits on my sunroom wall. It was a 169lb yellowfin tuna caught on 30lb line twenty odd years ago at the Tubes. It took 2and 3/4 hrs to land 3 gaffs to lift it out of the water at 7.30 pm in the dark, a boat watched the fight from start to finish and took it to Honeymoon bay for us to pick up as we could not carry it out up the cliff.

What makes it even more memorable is that the drag blew up after the first run so I had to jam my hand between the spool and the top cross plate of the reel. My fingers were a mess for weeks and so was my groin, NO rod bucket. Hard to believe I have at least 6 witnesses.

The best sport fish I have landed on light line with a pic is my 12kg Jew on 4kg line

That big yellowfin and the other one which is holding you up, Steven, looks suspiciously identical to the ones your bro caught. Are you trying to pull someones leg? C'mon, fess up.

Quite good mate had no probs and had it for a good while now, it's there basically for when we have blackouts and that is pretty regular down this neck of the woods. The council don't pay their electricity bill :offtopic:

Dave, that Photo of the Flathead is not counted, you can't catch them in the Laundry Tub.

Now let me tell you a story, One day as I was fishing for Cod in the river I just happened to catch the biggest fish I have ever seen, it ran me up and down the river bank a couple of times, I was just lucky that there was an old Mouldboard Plough in the bottom corner of the paddock so I tied my line to it, WELL I hung on tight and ploughed a couple of acres before I Pulled him up. He was So oo Big I couldn't fit him in the viewfinder so I kept the Head and took some pics of his mouth and as it just Happens called him Dave.
