Edited, Found a few more with head shots to keep the master happy...
havnt had much time to do any fishing but been getting pleanty of hunting in..
Most of these taken either Out west or down south at the old mans place.
Ill take the head shot if its there, unfortunatly goats have pretty hard heads and Nosler balistics in 55gn bounce off so a chest shot is the best option..
Rabbits at longer ranges with the .22 im happy with any hit..
So Generally speaking, Head Shots, or if the need arises a well placed chest shot is just as good..
Tis just me Spud.
If I cant get a head shot in then I dont pull the trigger
Earsight may not be wot it used to be once upon a time but that's only up close & in bad light.
Still see as clear as @ distance
Hey the Chad...
All I can see of your post is ..........
Are you going to give me back that Brno .22. I miss it very much I shot a cat in the ar... once with an air rifle. Thought it was looking at me with one eye. I think I need glasses.
I prefer head shots too but they aint always the best option... Besides, Id rather take a chest shot on a fox/cat at and drop it than take no shot at all..
KKW, you more than welcome to come and have a shot KKW, Been getting out fairly regurly, and the pup, well she all grown up now... Not that she has matured, ill try find a pic of her..
Great pics Rum.
Bloody huge cat alright.
What you do with all those kills?
Heres a few fresh ones...
Sorry the goats aint head shot for you Master! but long range goats with a 22-250 I wanted to make sure they dead so chest was best option..
Not real clear, but a few action shots..
