Fishing oz style _ Hunting ! _ O Give Me A Home Where The Bufullo Roam Part 1

Posted by: STEVE.P Jan 3 2008, 08:01 PM

Well after after hanging around camp for a few days doing a bit off bunny shooting cod and trout fishing we got to some more serious hunting. Jason took us to some properties where the country side is very steep and rugerd It was 4wheel drive country.
up on the mountains we would go looking for wild goats . After a short while we came across a mob , out we got and plan A was put into place , lets have a sanger first and a drink :gathering: rolleyes.gif we then went about getting closer to them down a gully to the left I ended up staying back a bit and was spotter signaling the big white hunters as to whitch way to go , they coud not see them when they got closer :crim: as they were behind some trees and bushes.
it took them about 30min. to get within 30mtr of them . as I was watching and playing my bango.
I dont know what hapend but they took off shots rang out but none droped.
By the time they got back to another 20min back up the lads were bugerd.
We spoted some more on the other side but after a short while we decided to give it another go early next morn. as it was getting late and we had a fair way to go back over the mountains.

Cock a doodle doo I yelled as we didn't have a rooster.
we had some breaky and we were off . back up the mountains , didn't take long before we came across a mob and we could see some more on the other hill tops,
We got out and went rambo style down the mountain . super.gif
Well we got within 18yards in the tall grass when we spoted a big billy infront of us so we just lay there waiting to see if he saw us , and Jason tried to play with my leg . And when I slaped him the billy would look our way laugh.gif
JG went further down the mountain as this is where we thout they would run too.
next thing we know JG fired a shot as he had stumbled onto some more and before these ones took off I told my son to crack the big one.

JG got one aswell then we went on our way to find more.
till next chapter
