Fishing oz style _ Boating Talk _ Few More Photos

Found an old trailer under an even older boat just sitting in my front yard, no time to build new one so dropped the boat on the front lawn
and converted the trailer. Had to change axle springs and take all the wobble rollers off it and put skids on it. I will cut mudguards off and
move in to the frame to look a bit nicer. It's sitting a bit high for my preference so will make a new alloy trailer, but this will do for the
time being. Put a couple of cheap seats up front and got the motor sitting on the back.
Bloody loom has got all different coloured wires and I don't know what wire goes where, will have to try and work it out quickly or this
boat ain't going to Burrinjuck.

Thanks George, I have looked on utube but nothing seems to be what I have. I have decided to admit defeat and leave the boat at home
and go as a deckie in one of the other boats. I will sort things out when I get back, plenty of time, I hope!!!.
John is pretty handy with a camera.

Good going Frank. Found an old boat in the front yard!!!??? I can see you now - " Oh, I wondered where I had put that". Might have to come around and help you have a good look around your place. Never know what you may find. smile.gif

Think I may have the wiring sorted, not to worry I still go down without the boat and sort things out when I come back.
Looks like we might be in for a bit of rain over the 3 days we will be there. Oh well I have sat in a cabin watching the water fall from the sky
on other occasions so I won't let this upset me, just hope we can get on the water at some stage.

you Never Know frank, The rain might be all finished by the time you get there, good to know that you have the wiring sorted you should be able to enjoy it when it's all finished,
I thought that you might repaint it when you were doing the rebuild.

George. Still heaps to do before it's finished, I do intend to paint it. I may have to take the motor off it again to paint the hull as it needs
tipping upside down, but I will colour code all the wires with some heat shrink once I get them right.

good work Frank I thought that you would paint it, A good trick with the wires is to put little number tags on them, then draw a diagram with the numbers
you will then have it for permanent Reference.
